Portland Personal Trainer: Taking a Protein Supplement

If you are going to start taking supplements you need to do your research on what you are taking. There are so many supplement companies out there that you really want to make sure you are taking a product from a reputable company.  If you are just looking for a protein supplement then you probably need to experiment with a few different brands before settling on one you like. In addition, if you are not able to get enough protein from food, then taking a protein supplement drink or branch chain amino acid supplement may be something that you could use. The rule of thumb is, do your research and then decide.
