Portland Personal Trainer: Don’t Drink Your Calories!
Portlandians, I know all of you like that excellent beer and drinks that this town has to offer, but you should not get a lot of your daily calories by drinking them. This is especially true for basic fluids like water. Eating lettuce, fresh fruits and vegetables are an excellent way to get hydrated, especially when we are hiking, doing long walks and just moving. The New Year is approaching, so it is of vital importance that the individual’s who are going to be drinking large amounts of alcohol, to stay hydrated throughout the evening. I know you may have to go to the bathroom more often, but it is better to minimize that hangover.
When the crazy night is over, you have woken up from that night of debauchery, it is time to focus on your new goals for 2013. I know a lot of you are going to be making weight loss or fitness goals, so to really take it to the next level and make sure you attain them, hire a Portland personal trainer to make sure it happens. You are also probably saying, “oh, I can do it my own”! Well, you need to ask yourself this one simple question: Based on the results you generated last year, did you achieve your fitness goals? If you did, then great, but if you did not, why didn’t you?
