Portland Personal Trainer | Brown Rice, Broccoli & Egg Whites | Post Workout Meal

Hello Portland, Oregon and the rest of the world! I just wanted to post a quick meal that I will eat for at least two days, especially when I am at my Portland personal training studio!

I make a large batch of this amazing stuff because I need to have some quick calories, energy and something to keep me going for a few hours. What is better than:

1. Brown Rice
2. Broccoli
3. Egg Whites
4. Dash of Oil Oil
5 Sprinkle of Colby Jack Cheese (for the sodium and flavor)

What I am doing is breaking this up into four separate meals so I can ingest it, not be too full, but have sustainable calories for being active when I am working.

In addition, this meal provides excellent sources of:

1. Fat
2. Healthy Carbohydrates
3. Plenty of great Fiber
4. Excellent source of Protein
5. Flavor from cheese and olive oil

I would recommend this dish when cooking so the broccoli can get steamed more and will be on the non crunchy side, unless you like that raw crunch!
