The core is one of the major parts of your body. Generally, like most people while you exercise in order to strive for a healthier life you often tend to miss out on the core. It surely is important to give your attention there as well. So here are a few trunk muscle workouts to make your core exercises agile –
Butterfly Situps – For this exercise lie down on your back with your face up. Bring your legs up until both the feet meet. Make sure to bend your knees in such a way that your feet are near the highest point. Keep your hands stretched above your head. Now with the help of your work pull your body up till your hand reaches your feet. Do this for 15 to 20 times.
Side Bend – One of the easiest ways to conquer the core game is side bend. Get into the plank posture only sidewise. Keep your right hand on the ground and left hand by your side. With the help of your butt and core push and pull body upwards and downwards.
Jackknife – Lie on your back with your legs stretched and stretches your arms above your head as well. Raise your hands as well as your leg simultaneously so that at a midpoint the both meet. Stretch your legs with the help of your core by almost sitting on your tailbone. This exercise has been proved to be very effective.
